Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, has described his side’s defeat to Vision FC as a tightly balanced encounter, insisting the outcome could have gone either way.

The Phobians suffered a 1-0 loss in their Matchday 29 fixture after conceding late, a result that deals a significant blow to their Ghana Premier League title ambitions.

Speaking after the match, Dramani admitted his disappointment but maintained that the game was evenly poised throughout.

“It was an open game, and either side could win,” he said. “Naturally, we are disappointed because we came here aiming for victory, and when you don’t get the result you want, it’s only normal to feel that way.”

The Hearts boss also pointed to the lack of rhythm in the game, suggesting it prevented both teams from fully imposing themselves on proceedings.

“I’m not sure there was a team that truly deserved to win this game. There were many factors that affected our ability to settle, and we needed some flow, but there was no flow in the game,” he added.

The defeat leaves Hearts of Oak in third place, now trailing league leaders Medeama SC by seven points with only five matches remaining.

With their title hopes hanging in the balance, the Rainbow Club will shift focus to their upcoming clash against Karela United, where they will aim to return to winning ways and keep their slim chances alive.
