Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has shed light on the key factors behind his team’s approach to in beating Aduana Stars.
The Porcupine Warriors ended their winless streak in the GPL against Aduana Stars after beating them 2-0 at Dormaa.
Speaking after their clash against Aduana Stars, Ogum emphasized that succeeding in such environments goes beyond tactical preparation.
“It’s about self-confidence, it’s about determination. Playing in Dormaa has nothing to do with tactics—it has something to do with the confidence of the team, the determination of the team, the aggression of the team, and I think the calmness of the team,” Ogum explained.
The coach lauded his players for maintaining their composure throughout the game, a strategy he deemed essential for navigating the intensity of the venue.
“If you look at the way we played, we were very calm because I know the venue to be an aggressive venue, and if you come aggressively, it wouldn’t help,” he added.
Kotoko are now 7th on the table with 18 points
