Young Apostles CEO Gerald Domfeh Dismisses Relegation Fears Ahead of Dreams FC Clash
Young Apostles Chief Executive Officer Gerald Domfeh has played down concerns over the club’s Ghana Premier League survival, insisting the team has what it takes to remain in the top flight this season.
With 22 points accumulated from 19 matches, the Wenchi-based side currently occupies 15th place on the league table following an inconsistent run of results. However, Domfeh remains confident the team’s position does not reflect its true potential.
“We will survive relegation,” he told Asempa FM.
The club boss pointed to performances across the season as evidence that improvement is within reach, expressing optimism ahead of their upcoming fixture against Dreams FC.
“From the games we have played, we can do better, and we will give Dreams FC a good game this weekend, and so relegation is out of the conversation,” he added.
Young Apostles will be aiming to return to winning ways after being held to a 2-2 draw at home by Hohoe United in their last outing. They are set to face Dreams FC away at the Tuba AstroTurf in the Matchday 20 encounter.
Away from the pitch, the club has also moved to reassure stakeholders of its commitment to the league. Despite earlier threats to withdraw from the competition, Young Apostles have confirmed they will continue to participate in the Ghana Premier League for the remainder of the 2025/26 campaign.
