Stephen Frimpong Manso Appointed as Head Coach of Black Starlets
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has named Stephen Frimpong Manso as the new Head Coach of the Male National Under-17 team, the Black Starlets.
A seasoned tactician, Frimpong Manso brings a wealth of experience to his new role. His extensive coaching career spans various clubs, including Stade d’Abidjan, Asante Kotoko, Karela United, B.A. United, Kessben FC (now Medeama SC), and Nkoranza Warriors.
He currently serves as the Head Coach of Bibiani Gold Stars in the Ghana Premier League.
Known for his ability to identify and nurture young talent, Frimpong Manso previously coached the Black Starlets between 2009 and 2010 and also served as the Assistant Coach of the team. Additionally, from 2006 to 2008, he was Assistant Coach of the Black Meteors, Ghana’s U-23 national team.
Frimpong Manso’s track record of developing young players will be a crucial asset as the Black Starlets prepare for upcoming international assignments.
Nana Kweku Agyemang and Jacob Nettey have been retained as Assistant Coaches to complement Frimpong Manso’s leadership, ensuring a robust technical setup for the team.
