The President of the Ghana Athletics Association (GAA), Bawa Fuseini, has hailed the 2025 CAA Region II Athletics Championship as a groundbreaking success, describing it as a milestone achievement for Ghana sports.

Speaking after the conclusion of the event, Fuseini expressed pride in how the championship unfolded, noting that it had gone far beyond initial expectations.

“The CAA Region II Athletics Championship 2025 has exceeded all our expectations and stands as a remarkable achievement for the Ghana Athletics Association and Ghana Sports,” he said.

The competition, which brought together elite athletes from across West Africa, showcased top-tier performances while further cementing Ghana’s growing reputation as a hub for athletics in the sub-region.
