RCD Mallorca has announced the successful transfer of midfielder Baba Iddrisu to Spanish rivals UD Almeria in the ongoing summer transfer.
Baba, 27, has switched camp to Almeria on a season-long loan with a purchase option, should he impress the technical handlers. Having being courted by UD Almeria since January, the deal looks hopeful for the Ghana international to sign a permanent deal after the 2023-24 league season.
😁 ¡Nunca olvidaremos tu sonrisa!
Gracias, @iddrisubaba12, por todo lo que nos has dado. Y mucha suerte en la @U_D_Almeria.

Last season, the Black Stars midfielder saw few minutes managing 29 games due to an injury he sustained.
After nine-years, the midfielder leaves RCD Mallorca to experience new environment and new challenge. He was first introduced to RCD Mallorca U-19 in 2014, where he managed to pass through the rank and make his senior team debut in 2018.
He is a key member of Ghana national team despite losing his place at the 2022 FIFA World Cup due to injury.
