“Kurt Okraku is ruining Ghana football” – Kofi Manu Blue Boy

Ghanaian astute football administrator and expert in GFA regulations, Kofi Manu has warned Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku to be careful of the tangent he is moving, ahead of next GFA elections. The GFA boss made several comments during the Association’s 29th Ordinary Congress in Kumasi on Monday, July 10th 2023.

Revealing that, some officials forge documents out of the FA but the time is over for such people now. Threatening that, he has enough documents to prosecute some people propagating lies about him and that they should preach football not talk lies about him if such officials claim they’re doing football.

As a matter of fact, many were expecting a roadmap to next GFA elections to be made known at the Congress but little did the Congressmen know, it was a campaign moment for next elections.

Kurt promised huge sums of incentives for Division One League clubs and Women’s Premier League clubs, in addition to offering boots for the next three season’s. Colts football, match officials, Premier League clubs and coaches were also promised.

Nevertheless, that was not enough to pinch Kofi Manu popularly known as Blue Boy until Kurt Okraku said, “If you are interested in leading football , speak football because our people here know what is football.”

Manu has jabbed the GFA President saying he is ruining Ghana Football and should be careful if not he may not even be illegible to contest next Presidential Elections.

“Look at how he is ruining Ghana football. Look at what happened at the Congress in Kumasi. Let me assure you that if Kurt is doing all these things because of he wants to seek re-election then let him know that he might not be part of of the candidates for the next GFA presidential elections.” , Kofi Manu said on Kumasi-based Fox FM.

“We have laws in Ghana. I have seen the petition against the GFA president and I can tell you that something massive is going to happen.

“He does not have a consistent name, his sister is at Prampram , Dreams FC general manager is made Team Manager of the Black Stars and the FIFA Code of Ethics is clear , that do not appoint your relatives. These are ethical breaches and you think he will survive?. His days are clearly numbered” , the veteran football administrator stated.
