Manhyia secures sponsorship deal for Asante Kotoko SC

His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has secured a sponsorship deal for Asante Kotoko SC ahead of start of 2023-24 league season.

Reliable information from Manhyia says, mining company, Newmont is in an advanced negotiation with the club and an official announcement will be made in the coming days.

This year, Newmont Africa signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Asantehene’s Foundation, therefore, the reports that the company will be sponsoring the Asantehene’s club will not be surprised.

There is also a possibility for telecommunication company, MTN to return as the club sponsors.

The company has a good relationship with Asantehene and it was the club’s main sponsor until they parted ways three years ago, when Nana Yaw Amponsah took over as Chief Executive Officer.
