OFFICIAL: Baba Iddrisu seal UD Almeria move

The 27-year old Ghanaian midfielder has completed a move to Spanish club UD Almeria in the ongoing summer transfer after having his mandatory medicals on Thursday.

The Black Stars defensive midfielder, joined Almeria on a season-long loan with a purchase option with deal worth 2.7 million euros. Baba switched from Spanish side RCD Mallorca where he’s had a tremendous nine years stay.

Despite, picking up an injury last season Baba Iddrisu made 29 league appearance and is expected to improve in his game minutes for UD Almeria, who finished 17th last campaign.

The lanky midfielder has been in the books of Almeria since January, and would obviously excel to see the purchase option triggered.

Baba is available for UD Almeria first leg game of the La Liga against Rayo Vallacano on Friday night(7:30), provided manager Vicente Moreno wants to use him.
