Dreams FC beat Guinean side Milo FC De Kankan for a qualification to the second preliminary round of matches in the 2023-24 CAF Confederation Cup.

First half strike by Guinean side Milo FC De Kankan was enough to put scores at 1-2 aggregate before the second quarter of the epic clash but could not hold tight for quality. At the Accra Sports Stadium, the visitors quickly made their presence felt as they aimed for qualification to the next phase of the 2023-24 CAF Confederation Cup tournament.

Having secured a 1-1 draw from the first leg played in Conakry, Milo FC showed desire to win away for a ticket.

Around the 16th minute mark, the visitors broke the heart of the home fans with a beauty of goal after denying Dreams FC an opener in the first department. An hour past the encounter but Dreams FC were failing to capitalize on chances they created.

In the last 15 minutes, Dreams FC rose up to the fans chant to draw parity courtesy a spot kick by Agyenim Boatenh before an enigmatic assist from Aziz Jalilu ensured the host take the lead for the first time in the clash.

Antwi bagged the second goal to offer Dreams FC 2-1 lead before the 86th minute and they went on to record a 3-2 victory on aggregate.

The Still Believe side left it late to seal their ticket to the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
