MATCH REPORT: Medeama SC through to the next round of CAF Champions league after eliminating Remo Stars SC

Ghanaian champions Medeama SC have dished Remo Stars FC to book themselves out to the next stage of the CAF Champions League.

On Sunday, they travelled away to face Remo Stars FC in Ikenne in the second leg tie of the competition. After picking 1-0 advantage from the first leg in Cape Coast, the Mauves and Yellow outfit knew they needed to push themselves up more in other to secure ticket.

At first half, game stood goalless in Ikenne but conceded in the second half to draw parity 1-1 aggregate.

With encounter drawing after full time, it proceeded to penalties which saw Medeama SC win 3-2 after each team had taken it five kicks.

Medeama SC would face Horoya AC of Guinea in the next round of qualifiers.
