The former Tamale City fireman, Sampson Eduku made his debut for Al Quwa Al Jawiya in the AFC Champions league draw against Iranian side Sepahan F.C on Monday.

At was the first Asian Champions league which saw the Ghanaian forward secure game time with huge support base as they got held to a 2-2 draw in Group C first group game. Each half goals from J.E Al Tameemi inspired Al Quwa Al Jawiya from a home defeat.

J.E Al broke the deadlock in the 26th minute before netting his brace with two minutes to full time after Daneshgar equalized in the 30th minute for the visitors before Ghorban scored to put Sepahan F.C infront for the first time in the game exactly the 67th minute mark.

With scores at 2-1, Tameemi rescued the homesters with a brace in a late screamer in the 88th minute to draw parity at the Franso Hariri Stadium.

Eduku secured a starting berth but did not enjoy full throttle and got substituted in the second half after 71 minutes.

He exhibited great quality in his debut to secure a rate of 3.8 over 5.
