Manchester City can win the UEFA Champions League again — Cristiano Ronaldo

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo believes Manchester City have a good chance to win the UEFA Champions League for a second consecutive season.

In a recent interview, the Al Naser forward and former Manchester United player tipped Pep Guardiola’s side as one of the favourites to lift the European Cup again next year.

“Manchester City have a good chance to win the Champions League again,” Ronaldo said in an interview as quoted on X by Fabrizio Romano.

Aside from the Sky Blues, the competition’s all-time top scorer tipped ex-club Real Madrid and Bayern Munchen as favourites.

“Favorites? Man City, Real Madrid, Bayern…” he added when asked about potential challengers.

Ronaldo applauded City’s 2022/23 achievements, saying “Manchester City did amazing. Congratulations on their season. Players, coach. Superb… Finally, they win the Champions League; they probably deserved it two years ago. I enjoy seeing them playing.”
