Hisense Ghana have gifted Ghana Premier League Champions, Medeama SC a new 47-seater bus ahead of their CAF Champions League campaign.
After images and videos of the bus branded with the logo of the Tarkwa-based club surfaced online earlier in the week, the brand ambassador of Hisense Ghana Nana Ama McBrown finally presented the team with the bus.
She drove the new bus to the forecourt of Tarkwa Community Centre to present the bus while receiving a warm welcome from fans and folks in the Tarkwa township.
Medeama won the Ghana Premier League last season after beating Tamale City on the final day despite a slow start to the season granting them the opportunity to play in Africa’s most prestigious inter-club competition.
As the sole representatives of Ghana in the CAF Champions League for the 2023/24 season, the Yellow and Mauves are preparing for their first match against Nigerian side Remo Stars on Sunday at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Evans Adotey’s men are counting on their experience in the CAF Confederation Cup to make an impact in the competition as they clash with their fellow debutants.
