Samuel Osei Kuffour returns to Bechem United FC

The Hunters have confirmed the return of their defender Samuel Osei Kuffour to the team ahead of 2023-24 league season.

The reliable centre-back joined FC Felgueiras last season on a season-long loan and has now made a return to trade in the upcoming season. He’s return to Bechem with enhanced abilities and a deeper understanding of the game.

In the 2021/2022 season, he appeared in 31 games for Bechem United and scored once.

In the same season, he also played a key role in helping the club to place 2nd runner-up and 1st runner-up in the Ghana Premier League and the MTN FA Cup.

Bechem United’s management and coaching staff also expressed their delight at having Kuffour back in the squad.

“Kuffour has shown tremendous growth during his loan spell, and we believe he will bring a fresh perspective and enhanced skills to our team. We warmly welcome him back and are excited to see him in action once again.

“With his return, we have enough experienced defenders such as Aaron Essel (Ghana U20, Ghana U23 & Black Galaxies), Joseph Kinful (Black Galaxies), Emmanuel Ababio and the general captain James Papa Yaw are more than capable to lead the defence and give a better performance in the upcoming season” said Mr. Kingsley Osei Bonsu, Chief Executive Officer.
