Asante Kotoko acting head coach Hamza Obeng says his side remains fully determined to end the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign on a winning note when they host Swedru All Blacks on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors head into the final round of the season looking to give their supporters something to celebrate after a difficult campaign that has seen the club experience changes on the technical bench and inconsistent league form.

Kotoko currently sit eighth on the league table and are aiming to finish the season strongly with maximum points at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Speaking ahead of the encounter, Obeng made it clear that the team’s mindset is focused entirely on victory despite the pressures surrounding their opponents.

“The plan is to go all out and secure all three points against Swedru All Blacks on Sunday,” he said.

“We want to give our fans a great final game of the season, and that’s exactly what we are focused on.”

While Kotoko seek a positive ending to the campaign, Swedru All Blacks enter the fixture fighting for survival as they attempt to avoid relegation from the Ghana Premier League.

Despite the contrasting objectives, Obeng insists his players remain motivated to produce a strong display and reward the club’s supporters with a convincing performance in the final game of the season.

The clash is expected to attract huge attention as both teams head into the final weekend with important ambitions still at stake.
