Hamza Obeng Targets Victory as Asante Kotoko SC Prepare for Bechem United Test
Head coach of Asante Kotoko SC, Hamza Obeng, says his side is fully focused on securing maximum points ahead of their crucial Ghana Premier League clash against Bechem United FC.
The Porcupine Warriors will travel to the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park this weekend for an important Week 33 fixture as they continue their push for a strong finish to the 2025/26 campaign.
Obeng revealed that the club’s technical team has intensified preparations ahead of the encounter, with attention being placed on improving different areas of the team’s play.
According to the Kotoko trainer, training sessions have focused heavily on sharpening the side’s attacking efficiency as they seek to secure victory away from home.
“We are working on every department, and the motive is that we try to find a way to put the ball in the back of their net and take the three points as well,” Obeng told AKSC Media.
Sunday’s contest is expected to be closely fought, with both clubs eager to finish the season positively.
Bechem United will head into the fixture motivated to secure victory in their final home match of the season, while Kotoko remain determined to continue their push up the league standings.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 17, at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
