GPL: Cioabă to Assess Squad Before Making Transfer Decisions
Newly appointed Aduana Stars head coach, Aristică Cioabă, has identified set-piece vulnerabilities as a key issue affecting the team’s performance.
The Romanian has revealed his intention to thoroughly evaluate the squad over the next three games before making any decisions regarding player reinforcements.
“I’ve noticed the team doesn’t lose because of bad tactics but rather from set pieces. I want to assess the next three games and review the management’s report before deciding if we need reinforcements for specific positions,” Cioabă stated.
He emphasized his commitment to building a strong team with high-quality players but stressed the importance of a proper evaluation process before making any changes.
“Perhaps management already has some players in mind before my arrival. If Aduana needs new players for the future, I will rely on the team’s report and bring in quality players. For now, I’d like to see what the current players can do in the next three games before deciding what the team needs,” he added.
The Fire Boys are currently in 13th place with just 12 points. Aduana Stars will face Berekum Chelsea in a Week 13 fixture, providing the first test for Cioabă’s analysis of the team.
