Newly appointed Aduana Stars head coach, Aristică Cioabă, has called on the club’s supporters to rally behind the team as they work to overcome their recent struggles in the Ghana Premier League.

Speaking in an interview, Cioabă emphasized the importance of unity among all stakeholders—management, staff, players, and fans—to turn the club’s season around.

“If the supporters trust my return, they should come closer to me because I need them. I like and love the supporters too much, and every time I come here, I have a great relationship with them,” Cioabă told Dormaa FM.

Acknowledging the challenges facing Aduana Stars, who currently sit in 13th position after 12 matches, the Romanian tactician urged fans to remain steadfast and supportive.

“I understand the team is struggling, but if we can rise again, it will require the combined effort of management, staff, players, and the fans. I urge them to come and support the team in the next three games so we can fix Aduana’s problems together,” he added.

Cioabă is no stranger to Aduana Stars, having previously managed the club in two separate stints.

The Ogya Boys face a crucial stretch of games in their quest to climb the league table, beginning with a Week 13 clash against Berekum Chelsea this weekend.
