Richmond Ayi part ways with Accra Hearts of Oak SC

Ghanaian shot-stopper, Richmond Ayi has left former Ghana Premier League champions Accra Hearts of Oak SC, Nkrataasem.com can report.

Process of parting ways has been initiated and almost done after both parties met to hold talks. The Ghanaian giant’s have agreed with reasons of the player exiting the club before the 2023-24 league season starts.

The Goalkeeper joined the Phobians from WAFA in 2018 and has spend five seasons with them of which, he earned a call-up to the Black Meteors team. In 2022, the former Techiman City FC glovesman signed a three-year contract extension which run until 2025.

But he’s leaving with two seasons contract left running in his deal.

It is yet unknown what might have triggered this, but our source has hinted that something of match-fixing allegations has left both parties lose trust with each other, therefore decision to move separate ways.
