FC Samartex 1996 has secured the services of Ghanaian player James Sewornu on a permanent deal after impressing during his loan spell, source revealed to Nkrataasem.com .
The defender last season joined the Timber Giant’s on a season-long loan from giant’s Accra Hearts of Oak SC. With his strength, agility and calmess on the ball, Samartex 1996 have acquired him from Hearts ahead of 2023-24 league season.
Sewornu played an important role in the heart of defense for the Samerboi outfit as they retained their Premiership ticket in their maiden top-flight football. The young centre-back played 28 matches and providing an assist in the 2022/23 season.
He joins FC Samartex on a two-year contract with club announcement expected in the coming days.
