Brøndby IF complete the signing of Ghana forward Emmanuel Yeboah

Ghanaian youngster Emmanuel Yeboah has sealed his move to Brøndby IF in the Danish Superliga.

As the club announced his signing on Saturday, the Black Meteors forward signed a four-year contract from Romanian side, CFR Cluj.

The 20-year-old attacker has been phenomenal for both club and Country, after making the World observe his brilliant performance at the U-23 CAF Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Algeria, scoring three goals in three matches.

He made 53 appearance for CFR Cluj, where he scored five goals and provided three assists as a result.

Football director Carsten V. Jensen talks about the approach of Emmanuel Yeboah.

“In Yeboah we get a big and strong offensive player who, combined with his persistence, can perform in most offensive positions. With the arrival of Yeboah, we step in and strengthen the competition among our front positions from day one. He has not only shown his strengths at club level, but also on Ghana’s U23 national team, where he has also been a great capacity.

“We are therefore very pleased to have secured his signature”

Emmanuel Yeboah said this after the switch to Brøndby IF.

“I am very happy that this change has taken place and I am very much looking forward to representing Brøndby IF. My ambition is to enter and compete, and of course to develop into an even better footballer”
