Winfred Dormon has hailed Dreams FC’s hard-earned victory over Medeama SC, describing it as a positive outcome while admitting his side should have been more clinical in front of goal.

The “Still Believe” side produced an impressive display to secure a 2-1 win in their Ghana Premier League Week 26 encounter, overcoming a strong Medeama outfit in a tightly contested fixture.

Speaking after the match, Dormon acknowledged the quality of the opposition but revealed his frustration over missed opportunities that could have made the game more comfortable for his team.

“To be honest we knew before hand that we were going to have a very difficult game because Medeama are a good team. My disappointment is that in the first chances we had chances and we could have buried the game, but we didn’t do that. By and large, it’s a good result for Dreams FC, a good performance, but we still have a lot to do,” he said.

Despite the wastefulness in attack, Dreams FC showed resilience and composure to hold onto their lead and claim all three points.

The victory lifts the club to ninth place on the league table as they head into the final stretch of the campaign, with renewed confidence following a strong showing against one of the title contenders.
