Aduana FC winger Anponsa Hensen has set the tone ahead of his side’s MTN FA Cup semi-final encounter, declaring the club’s ambition to go all the way in this year’s competition.

With a place in the final on the line, the young attacker has made it clear that Aduana are not merely aiming for progression, but are fully focused on lifting the trophy at the end of the campaign.

“Our goal is to win the FA Cup, and winning this game brings us one step closer to our target,” Hensen stated. “If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best.”

His confidence mirrors that of a team that has already overcome significant hurdles en route to the semi-finals, including a high-profile triumph over Asante Kotoko earlier in the competition.

Friday’s clash at the Swedru Sports Stadium presents another stern test, with Nations FC standing in their path.

While Nations advanced after a tense penalty shootout victory over Berekum Chelsea, Aduana are chasing history as they seek to secure their maiden FA Cup title.

Kick-off is scheduled for April 17, with the winner progressing to the final to face either Medeama SC or Dreams FC in what promises to be a fitting climax to the competition.
