Vision FC head coach, Nana Kweku Agyemang, has expressed strong belief that his team will avoid relegation at the end of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

The newly promoted side gave their survival hopes a major boost with an impressive 2-0 victory over league leaders Bibiani GoldStars on Sunday during their Matchday 29 encounter at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex.

The vital win has seen Vision FC pull further away from the relegation zone, keeping alive their ambitions of staying in the top flight during their debut season.

Speaking after the match, a confident Agyemang reiterated his faith in his squad.
“I’ve said it over and over again, we will not be relegated. The boys will rise to the occasion. We’ll stay in the league, and next season, you’ll see a better side,” he assured.

Vision FC’s victory was secured with a late goal from Edmond Asante, sealing an important three points and lifting the team to 14th on the league table, overtaking Accra Lions in the process. Meanwhile, the defeat means Bibiani GoldStars’ advantage at the summit has been trimmed to just two points.

Currently sitting on 33 points, Vision FC will now shift focus to their next test — a tough away trip against Medeama SC, where they will seek to continue their resurgence.
