Mas-Ud Didi Dramani Announces 26-Man Squad for CHAN Qualifiers Against Nigeria

Ghana’s Black Galaxies head coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, has unveiled a 26-man squad for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers against Nigeria.

The squad includes key players from various Ghanaian clubs, showcasing a balanced mix of experience and emerging talent. Defenders Razak Simpson (Nations FC), Nurudeen Abdulai (Medeama SC), Kusi Asante (Vision FC), Isaac Afful (FC Samartex 1996), and Kamaradini Mamudu (Medeama SC) will anchor the backline.

In midfield, Emmanuel Antwi (Asante Kotoko), Manuel Mantey (Medeama SC), and Ibrahim Hafiz (Attram de Visser) bring creativity and stability. Upfront, Charwatey Faisal (Nations FC), Jerry Afriyie (Thoughts FC), Issah Yakubu (Basake Holy Stars), and Albert Amoah (Asante Kotoko SC) will aim to spearhead the attack.

The Black Galaxies are set to face Nigeria’s Super Eagles B team in the first leg of the qualifier on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at the Accra Sports Stadium. Kickoff is at 4:00 PM local time (16:00 GMT). The second leg is scheduled for Saturday, December 28, 2024, in Nigeria.
