Nominations for filing of forms for the 2023 GFA Executive Council position on Monday, August 7 2023 saw duration for filing expire on Friday, August 11 2023.

An amount of GHC15,000 was charged any interested person who wants to get to the Executive Council. Nonetheless, as many as five members of the football association filed their nominations.

Vice president of the Ghana Football Association and bankroller of lower-tier club Nzema Kotoko SC has picked forms to contest for a position on the GFA ExCO.

Mark Addo was elected Vice President of the Ghana Football Association by the Executive Council of the FA in 2019 after Kurt Okraku resumed office. With his tenure, expiring there ought to be an election as enshrined in the GFA’s regulations and status quo.

Addo was elected onto the GFA Executive Council as one of three representatives of Division One League clubs.

Elections is expected to be held in Tamale next month, September 27, 2023.
