Crystal Palace hails Jordan Ayew for enigmatic Premier league opener against Sheffield United
Crystal Palace could not hide their joy following Jordan Ayew’s explosive display in the 2023-24 Premier League opener against Sheffield United on Saturday.
The Ghana international was very impressive and instrumental in Palace narrow victory over Sheffield United, as he took the stage by storm to deliver a fantastic performance Bramall Lane.
His display did not make Crystal Palace fans miss their star man Wilfred Zaha who left to Galatasary last month.
The Black Stars forward provided the only assist of the game to ensure his outfit win 1-0.
Odsonne Edouard received an excellent cross from Jordan Ayew, found some room inside the box, and scored the goal in the 50th minute.
Reacting to Ayew performance, Crystal Palace took to social media to eulogize the Black Stars attacker for his top performance in the clash.
“A moment to appreciate Jordan Ayew’s performance today 👌” the club tweeted.
Palace will next host Arsenal at the Selhurst Park on August 21 in a London derby.
