Former Western Region RFA chairman, Kojo Yankah has promised to put on hold the 2023 Ghana Football Association Presidential Elective Congress.

On Thursday, August 03 2023 the GFA announced roadmap and Guidelines for the next elections as directed by the 2019 revised GFA Statutes.

However, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidential aspirant Kojo Yankah has expressed his disappointment in the current GFA administration following the release of the roadmap for the upcoming elections.

And believe the current arrangements outlined aren’t favourable to individuals who have intentions of contesting the presidential elections.

Nominations have been opened for four days from August 7 to 11.

Speaking to Onua Sports, Mr Yankah vowed to not let the elections happen stating that, “The Elections will not come on and if it happens, something tragic will happen.”

“Kurt is scared of me, I am the reason why they are doing that but I will make sure the elections do not happen. Kurt lacks integrity and will lose the elections” he added.

Yankah declared his intention to contest the office of the GFA presidency a couple of months ago.
