Asante Kotoko SC to start preseason next week

The former Ghana Premier League winner’s have announced August 8, 2023 to start preseason training ahead of 2023-24 league season.

Asante Kotoko SC after last season’s campaign, dissolved both the management team and board of directors. Again, the team had no head coach after they parted ways for Abdulai Gazale their youth team coach as interim manager.

The club due to several factors including technical, failed to shine in the 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League season as they could not defend their title which was won in the 2021-22 league season.

Asante Kotoko SC, however, managed to finish 4th on the log after 34 round of matches.

The team is heading to Beposo for their 2023-24 preseason camp. The playing body is expected to arrive at their new camp base on Monday, August 7 2023.

Before, training start on Tuesday August 8 2023.

The Porcupine Warriors will commence their season with clash against new entrants Kpando Hearts of Lions before traveling away to Bibiani for GoldStars SC game then Karela United FC.

Meanwhile, the side is being managed by Prosper Narteh Ogum and James Kwesi Appiah as technical director under the supervision of Interim Management Committee.
