Hafiz Konkoni scores and assist in debut game for Young Africans SC

Ghanaian striker Abdul Hafiz Konkoni marked his debut for Young Africans SC with a goal and assist on Wednesday, when his outfit thumped Kinondoni MC.

The deadly attacker who joined the Tanzanian club early this month, from Ghana Premier League side Bechem United FC wasted no time hitting the grounds running with enigmatic performance, inspiring Yanga SC to a deserving 5-0 triumph.

He climbed off the bench to score and also provide an assist, in their first league game but matchday 2 of the 2023-24 Tanzanian Premier League.

Hafiz replaced Kennedy Musonda in the second half, exactly on the 63rd minute mark when Young Africans SC had taken two goals lead.

His first game took place in a home game to Kinondoni MC at the Azam Complex, scoring the 3rd goal to make scores 3-0 with a calm tap in finish from a free-kick after 7 minutes making way to the field.

The Black Stars forward assisted the fourth goal before his outfit recorded a 5-0 heavy victory to begin their league campaign with an enviable win.
