GHALCA Elections: Isaac Koomson Pledges Insurance Policy for Club Owners and Administrators
Isaac Koomson, an aspirant for the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) chairmanship and a key member of Aduana Stars’ management, has outlined a bold initiative to safeguard the welfare of club owners and administrators across the country.
Speaking as part of his campaign promises, Koomson emphasized the importance of introducing an insurance policy for those involved in club administration.
He highlighted the risks associated with managing football clubs, particularly in the Ghana Premier League and Division One, where travel is frequent and often challenging due to long distances and poor road conditions.
“I will introduce an insurance policy for club owners and club administrators. Club administration involves constant travel across the country. Accidents can happen, someone can get sick, or even die,” Koomson stated on Asempa FM.
The proposed insurance policy is expected to cover health emergencies, accidents, and other unforeseen incidents, providing a safety net for the individuals who play critical roles in the growth and sustainability of Ghanaian football.
