GFA Set to Unveil Full 2026/27 Ghana Premier League Fixtures on July 23
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is set to reveal the complete fixture list for the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League on Thursday, July 23, as clubs and supporters eagerly await the roadmap for the new campaign.
The official launch of the fixtures will take place at 14:00 GMT (2:00 p.m. local time), with the full schedule to be published simultaneously on the GFA’s official website, www.ghanafa.org, and across its verified social media platforms.
The release will outline the entire season calendar for all 18 participating clubs, covering a total of 306 matches. Each team will receive its complete 34-game schedule, including opening weekend fixtures, regional derbies, and key matchdays expected to shape the title race and survival battle.
The publication of the fixtures will also provide clubs with the opportunity to complete detailed planning for the season, including travel arrangements, accommodation, security coordination and other operational logistics.
Earlier, the GFA confirmed that the new Premier League campaign will kick off over the weekend of September 4–7, 2026, before concluding on the weekend of May 28–31, 2027.
With just weeks remaining before the season begins, anticipation is building among fans eager to discover who their clubs will face on the opening day and when the biggest rivalries of the campaign will be played.
The fixture announcement is also expected to highlight crucial periods of the season, including congested schedules, festive fixtures and decisive closing rounds that could determine the destination of the league title, qualification for CAF inter-club competitions and the fight against relegation.
The unveiling of the calendar marks another important milestone in preparations for the new season and officially signals the countdown to what promises to be another competitive and entertaining Ghana Premier League campaign.
