Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has voiced concern over his side’s ongoing struggles in front of goal in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.

The Phobians have found the net just twice in five matches, recording two wins and three draws in what has been a solid but low-scoring start to their campaign.

Their most recent outing — a goalless draw against Heart of Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, October 13 — once again highlighted their attacking frustrations, despite dominating possession and creating chances.

When asked about the team’s lack of goals after the game, Dramani admitted it was a concern.

“Every coach will be worried in this instance,” he said.

However, the experienced tactician maintained a positive outlook, emphasizing the team’s progress in other aspects of play. He noted that Hearts of Oak are developing a strong tactical foundation and that the goals will eventually come as the players grow in confidence and cohesion.

“The most important thing is what we are doing to control the game and create spaces. I think the team is still a work in progress. For us, we don’t care whether we are playing home or away,” Didi Dramani added.

Hearts of Oak will be hoping to turn their dominance into goals as they continue their quest to climb the Premier League table and reassert themselves among Ghana’s top clubs.
