Kim Lars Björkegren is expected in Accra on Friday, May 29, as preparations continue for upcoming assignments involving Ghana’s Black Queens.

The Swedish tactician is scheduled to observe the ongoing Black Queens B screening and camping programme currently being supervised by Yusif Basigi.

The exercise has brought together a number of standout home-based players who are being evaluated for possible inclusion in the national team setup and future competitions.

Coach Kim’s arrival is expected to strengthen the assessment process as the technical team works toward expanding the Black Queens player pool with more domestic talent.

The screening sessions have focused on tactical awareness, fitness levels and technical ability, with players hoping to impress ahead of future national team call-ups.

Officials believe the programme will help identify emerging talents capable of competing for places in the senior squad as Ghana intensifies preparations for upcoming international engagements.

Meanwhile, the main Black Queens squad is expected to open camp shortly after the screening exercise concludes.

The Ghana Football Association continues to push efforts aimed at building a stronger and more competitive women’s national team structure by closely monitoring performances in the domestic game.
