Black Queens Set to Face England in Historic Friendly This December
The Black Queens of Ghana will take on England’s Lionesses in an international friendly scheduled for December 2025 at the St. Mary’s Stadium in Southampton.
The match promises to be a stern test for Ghana, who recently impressed at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco, securing a bronze medal after finishing behind champions Nigeria and hosts Morocco.
Before their clash with England, the Queens will return to competitive action in October when they meet Egypt in the final round of qualifiers for the 2026 WAFCON. Head coach Kim Lars Björkegren and his technical team are focused on guiding the squad to another successful continental campaign.
