Bibiani Gold Stars CEO Akwasi Adu Confident of Ghana Premier League Title Push
Chief Executive Officer of Bibiani Gold Stars, Akwasi Adu, has expressed strong belief in the club’s ability to clinch the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title as the season approaches its final stretch.
Speaking ahead of their upcoming showdown with league leaders Asante Kotoko on Sunday, May 25, Adu reiterated the club’s determination to win all remaining fixtures, a strategy he believes is critical for their title ambitions.
“Our mission is clear: win every match ahead of us. That’s the only way to remain in contention for the title,” Adu told local media.
The Miners, who were awarded three points following Nsoatreman FC’s suspension from the league, remain firmly in the title race. Despite a recent 2-0 setback against Karela United, Adu remains confident in the team’s response and the leadership of head coach Frimpong Manso.
Gold Stars’ destiny could hinge on their clash with Asante Kotoko, who currently sit atop the table. However, Adu insists his side will be ready for the test, and if both teams win their remaining matches, he believes Gold Stars have the edge.
Bibiani Gold Stars have been one of the standout teams this season, with a solid home record and consistent performances giving them a real shot at their first-ever league crown.
