Former General Manager for Nsoatreman Football Club,  Eric Alagidede has revealed he did not resign due to political reasons.

It was confirmed yesterday that Eric Alagidede has resigned from his post as General Manager of Nsoatreman Football Club.

According to some reports, the football administrator left his role because the bank roller of the club, Ignatius Baffour Awuah lost his seat in the just ended 2024 General Elections.

Speaking on Asempa FM, Eric Alagidede revealed he resigned on his personal terms.

“I did not resign base on political reasons. I’m a principled person and I always uphold my principles. I took a personal decision to leave this club some few months back.” He said.

“I decided to stay on because some people asked me to stay but I think that the time has come for me to move on. I think the applauds is still loud and it is my personal decision to leave. It is time for someone to continue the good work I did.” He added.
