Swedru All Blacks have officially said goodbye to prolific forward Rudolf Junior Nana Mensah as the striker prepares to continue his career in Egypt with newly promoted Egyptian Premier League side El Qanah FC.

The Ghanaian forward leaves the Swedru-based club after playing a crucial role in one of the most memorable periods in its recent history.

All Blacks took to social media to express their appreciation for Mensah’s commitment and contribution during his time with the club.

“Every journey has its chapter, and today we close one with gratitude. Thank you for every goal, every battle, every sacrifice, and every moment you gave to the All Blacks. You wore the badge with pride and left your mark on our club,” the club wrote.

The club also wished the 24-year-old well as he begins the next stage of his career.

“As you embark on the next chapter of your career, we wish you success, growth and greater achievements. The All Blacks family will always be home.”

Mensah’s departure brings an end to an influential spell in which he helped Swedru All Blacks achieve promotion to the Ghana Premier League after a lengthy absence.

He was particularly outstanding during the 2024/25 Division One League campaign, scoring an impressive 27 goals in 30 appearances to spearhead the club’s return to Ghana’s top flight after 16 years.

His goalscoring form established him as one of the standout performers in the division and made him a key figure in All Blacks’ promotion success.

Mensah will now continue his career with El Qanah FC, an Ismailia-based club that earned promotion to the Egyptian Premier League after winning the 2025/26 Egyptian Second Division A title.

The move presents the forward with a new challenge and an opportunity to test himself in Egyptian top-flight football.

For Swedru All Blacks, however, replacing Mensah will be a major task. His goals were central to their promotion campaign, and the club will now have to identify a suitable attacking replacement ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
