Baba Iddrisu completes move to UD Almeria

Few weeks ago, Spanish club UD Almeria made an official bid for Ghana international Baba Iddrisu from RCD Mallorca and after engagement with the club, they have lanky midfielder.

Baba Iddrisu has joined Spanish La Liga outfit UD Almeria in the ongoing summer transfer window, following a successful negotiations.

Nkrataasem.com understands the deal is worth 2.7 million euros.

He is expected to sign a three-year contract latest by Friday morning upon completing his medicals on Thursday.

UD Almeria last season finished 17th on the La Liga log asuch very keen on augmenting their midfield with Baba Iddrisu. Due to injuries, the Black Stars midfielder could not see much game minutes thus 29 matches, however, it doesn’t take away the fact that he is one of the best in the League when it comes to his position.

Good reader of the game, a brilliant ball retainer and also phenomenal when it comes to initiating attacks from his half.

The deal means, Baba Iddrisu has ended his long term stint with RCD Mallorca this summer. He joined RCD Mallorca youth team in 2014 from Leganes U19, where he gradually rose through the ranks from Mallorca B to the first team in 2019 having had multiples of loan spells.

His nine years spell with RCD Mallorca comes to an end.
