Ghanaian attacker, Ibrahim Sadiq has officially joined Dutch top-flight club AZ Alkmaar in a permanent contract on Europe transfer deadline eve.

Sadiq, 23, penned a long-term contract from BK Häcken signing a five year contract until mid-2028.

From the Right to Dream Academy, Sadiq made a move to Swedish BK Häcken in 2021, where he enjoyed impressive statistics with the team scoring 27 goals and assisting 8 times. He inspired the team to winning both national champion (2022) and cup winner (2023).

He chalked success with BK Häcken and helped them qualify for the group stage last Thursday, and even scored twice on the night.

With that, he made a major contribution to the win over Aberdeen and thus qualifying for the group stage of the UEFA Europa League. Sadiq: “Chasing dreams” “It’s a great stadium,” says Sadiq while being impressed by the AFAS Stadium.

“These are stadiums you want to play in. It’s like a dream come true for me. AZ really wanted me. That also gives a good feeling.”
