Medeama SC forward Jonathan Sowah earn Black Stars call-up for 2023 AFCON qualifier game against CAR

Ghana coach Chris Hughton has announced a 25-man squad for their upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Central African Republic next week.

His squad could only offer one slot to locally based players despite several talents around.

Hughton offered call-up to Medeama’s talisman and 2022-23 club topscorer(12), Jonathan Sowah for the epic encounter.

The Black Stars will face Central African Republic in the last fixture of the qualifiers, where they hope to secure qualification by avoiding defeats.

Encounter, is scheduled to be played at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, September 10 2023.
