Lyon newboy Ernest Nuamah earn second Black Stars call-up for Central African Republic game

19-year-old Ernest Nuamah has earned his second call-up to the senior national team of Ghana, the Black Stars ahead of their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier clash against Central African Republic.

Ghana who last won the prestigious Africa tour among in 1982, are aiming to book themselves up for yet another appearance at the Africa Cup of Nations. They will host Central African Republic in the last fixture of Group H next work.

Chris Hughton who seems struggling after taking over the coaching job in March, has targeted qualification for the next AFCON tournament in Ivory Coast, asuch invited 25-man squad for the epic encounter.

The former Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United FC boss has extended invitation to Olympique Lyon newboy Ernest Nuamah for the second time. He first earned invite in May for Ghana’s double header against Angola.

Nuamah having impressed at the junior side of the national team, Black Meteors and had a splendid campaign with FC Nordsjaelland caught the attention of the technical handlers of the Black Stars to return to the team.
