Chris Hughton name squad for CAR game without midfielder Thomas Partey

The Black Stars tactician Chris Hughton has announced his squad for Ghana’s upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier game against Central African Republic next week.

Ghana who are four-time African and will face Central African Republic in Group H last fixture as they seek for qualification to next AFCON tournament to be held in Ivory Coast.

The 25-man squad has three goalkeepers including Richard Ofori.

The former Maritzburg United gloves glovesman has been out of the team since November 2022 due to injury.

He returns after 10-months having missed out in Ghana’s double header against Angola.

Defender Alidu Seidu has also made a return after missing Angola clash. Baba Rahman has made a sensational return, likewise midfielder Baba Iddrisu.

The attackers are; Inaki Williams, Antoine Semenyo, Jordan Ayew, Ernest Nuamah, Osman Bukari, Joseph Paintsil and Jonathan Sowah of Medeama SC.
