Ghanaian domestic champions, Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC have secured the only slot from WAFU Zone B to make it to 2023-24 TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League.

They beat Delta Queens 1-0 in Benin City, Nigeria in the grand finale on Thursday afternoon.

A first half strike from Ophelia Serwaa Amponsah was enough to inspire the Blue and White lass to clinch the WAFU B trophy. Connecting from Nancy Amoh’s free-kick in the 43rd minute gave the Ghanaian club confidence and zeal to conquer.

Coach Joe Nana Darkwah’s following the narrow victory, have duly qualified for the next CAF women’s Champions league upon their second attempts.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies based in Techiman, will now prepare for the Champions League in the coming months.

They won double after beating Hasaacas Ladies FC to the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League and Women’s FA Cup title.
