Mohammed Kudus marks Premier league debut in West Ham United FC triumph over Luton Town

The 23-year-old attacking midfielder climbed off the bench to make his debut for West Ham United FC on Friday night. It also marked his Premier league first appearance after completing his sensational switch from the Dutch Eredivisie days ago to the Premiership.

Despite, training with his teammates for few times was included in the Hammers squad for their 2023-24 English Premier league away game to Luton Town on Friday night.

He was offered few minutes of game time as West Ham United recorded a 2-1 deserving victory over Luton Town at their own backyard Kenilworth Road.

The former FC Nordsjaelland and AFC Ajax Amsterdam star replaced Lucas Paqueta in the 90th minute and enjoyed just five minutes of stoppage time.

He is expected to make his first debut start at home, when Manager David Moyes and his side host Manchester City after the international break in September 16, 2023.

Meanwhile, goals scorers for the visitors were Jarrod Bowen and Kurt Zouma. Bowen broke the deadlock in the 36th minute with Paqueta offering the assist before James Ward-Prowse assisted Kurt Zouma for the second in the 85th minute mark.

In the stoppage time, Luton Town managed to pull one back through Mads Andersen to make scores 2-1 at full time.
