Lawrence Ati-Zigi Named April Player of the Month at FC St. Gallen
Lawrence Ati-Zigi has been rewarded for his impressive form after being voted Player of the Month for April by FC St. Gallen.
The Ghana international goalkeeper earned the recognition following a string of influential performances that helped the Swiss side maintain a strong run in the Swiss Super League.
Ati-Zigi produced several important saves throughout the month and continued to showcase the composure and leadership that have made him a key figure for St. Gallen since arriving at the club in 2020.
His performances during April earned overwhelming support from fans, who voted him as the club’s best player for the month.
The 29-year-old has once again enjoyed a solid campaign, featuring in 35 matches across all competitions while keeping eight clean sheets this season.
Since moving to Switzerland, Ati-Zigi has grown into one of the club’s most trusted players and a fan favourite, registering 251 appearances and 49 clean sheets for St. Gallen.
