Fatawu Issahaku Reports Early to Black Stars Camp Ahead of Wales Friendly
Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has arrived at the Black Stars camp ahead of Ghana’s international friendly against Wales on June 2 as preparations intensify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The winger becomes one of the early arrivals for the national team camp as players begin assembling for the upcoming warm-up matches in North America.
The Wales encounter is expected to serve as the first official match under new head coach Carlos Queiroz, who continues preparations for the global tournament.
While several players are still expected to report to camp in the coming days, Ghana’s final World Cup squad has not yet been announced, leaving competition for places within the team still open.
Ghana have been drawn in Group L for the tournament alongside Panama, England and Croatia as the Black Stars aim for a strong campaign in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
