GPL: Four Players Nominated for NASCO Player of the Month Award for October
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has unveiled the shortlist for the GPL Player of the Month award for October in the ongoing 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
Four standout performers — Emmanuel Marfo (Aduana FC), Emmanuel Owusu (Medeama SC), Samuel Attah Kumi (Gold Stars SC), and Emmanuel Annor (Nations FC) — will battle for the prestigious monthly accolade after impressing with exceptional performances throughout the month.
Aduana FC’s Emmanuel Marfo was a key figure in his side’s strong run of form, featuring in four matches and contributing two goals, alongside one Man of the Match award. His consistency has helped Aduana maintain their place at the top end of the league table.
Medeama SC winger Emmanuel Owusu also makes the list after a productive October, where he played three matches, scored one goal, and provided two assists. His creativity and pace were vital in Medeama’s run during the month, earning him one MVP recognition.
Gold Stars striker Samuel Attah Kumi enjoyed a prolific spell, netting four goals in six matches while adding one assist and claiming two MVP awards. His sharp finishing and work rate have been instrumental in Gold Stars’ attacking play this season.
Nations FC forward Emmanuel Annor completes the nominees after an explosive month that saw him score four goals in four matches, along with one Man of the Match performance. His goalscoring form has made him one of the most dangerous forwards in the league.
The award recognizes consistent excellence and individual brilliance, highlighting players who continue to raise the competitive level of the Ghana Premier League.
