Ghana’s CAF Champions League team Medeama SC to know opponent Tuesday

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has slated Tuesday, July 25 July 2023 for the 2023-24 CAF Inter-Club competitions draw. It will be held at the headquarters of CAF as confirmed.

The draw will be for the preliminary stage at exactly 14h00 Cairo time (11h00 GMT)

54 clubs from 42 Member Associations have qualified for next season’s CAF Champions league to be engaged in the draw.

Ghana’s champions Medeama SC is therefore expected to know their opponent for the preliminary stage on Tuesday. The Tarkwa-based beat Tamale City FC 3-0 on the last day of the 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League fixture to clinch their first-ever Ghana Premier League title.

This marks their first team participating in the CAF Champions League but have twice appeared in the CAF Confederation Cup with the MTN FA Cup title.
